    After you have updated your IOS device or iPhone/iPad, the Control4 app. will delete the security password for your Control4 system. In these instructions, we are going to show you how to re-type in your system security password for your Control4 app. on you IOS device or iPhone/iPad.

    1st, When you open up your Control4 app. you will get a message saying that “You Don’t Have A 4Sight Subscription, Please Call Your Dealer”. When that happens, press “Okay”. From there, you will see the name of your system and the IP address of your system that the app. is trying to connect to.

    2nd, From there, go to the top right and click on the “Pencil Icon”, that will turn on editing. Then go all the way down to the bottom of the page to “Advanced Security”, click on that. Then enter the Control4 systems password which will be: __________, then click “OK or Save”.

    3rd, Then go all the way up to where it says “Connect” and click on that. Your app. should now connect to your system.

    *You may have to try this more than once to have your Control4 app. on you IOS device or iPhone/iPad to connect. You may also have to totally close the Control4 app. by double tapping the home button and swiping up on the Control4 app. to fully close it and then re-opening it back up and starting again.
